The winner of the McMaster Brain Bee will represent us at the Third Annual CIHR Canadian National Brain Bee (CCNBB). Big cash prizes! Trophies! Recognition! Stuff to add to your resume! The first and second CCNBB competitions were held at McMaster in May 2008 and May 2009. In 2010 the third CCNBB will be held at McMaster, likely in late May. Competitors from all over Canada will come to compete for the National title. Check out the CCNBB website for some great highlights of the National competition: http://brainbee.ca.

There are great prizes and trophies at all levels of the competition! In addition to representing McMaster University and the Hamilton-Halton-Niagara Region at the CIHR Canadian National Brain Bee in the spring, the first place winner takes home a Traveling trophy plaque with their name engraved to display in their school trophy case for one year. Think of the fame!

First, second, and third place winners also receive engraved trophy plaques to keep. All the participants get a beautiful Participation Certificate, and a goodie bag with some neat stuff!

The winner of the CIHR Canadian National Brain Bee will represent Canada at the International Brain Bee to be held in San Diego California, in August of 2010. Competitors from countries all over the world will compete for the International title and prizes! More cash prizes! More trophies! More fame!

We would love to see you at our 2009 competition! Please consider joining us!
