Congratulations everyone!
We very much enjoyed the 2009
Sixth Annual McMaster Brain Bee!

Our first place winner is Julia Shin from Iroquois Ridge High School in Oakville.

Julia will represent McMaster at the Second Annual Canadian National Brain Bee! The Canadian National Brain Bee will be held at McMaster in May, 2009. Competitors from all over Canada will come to compete for the National title.

The winner of the Canadian National Brain Bee will go on to compete in the International Brain Bee in Toronto in August, 2009. Competitors from countries all over the world will compete for the International title and prizes!

There are great prizes and trophies at all levels of the competition! In addition to representing McMaster University and the Hamilton-Halton-Niagara Region at the Second Canadian National Brain Bee in May, the first place winner takes home a Traveling trophy plaque to display at the winner's school for one year.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners received an engraved trophy plaque to keep. All the participants got a beautiful Participation Certificate, and a goodie bag with some neat stuff!

The Annual McMaster Brain Bee competition is open to students from Hamilton-Halton-Niagara regions and surrounding area high schools. Starting thinking ahead to the 2010 brain bee! If your school was not involved this year, we would love to see you at our 2010 competition. Please consider joining us!

The 6th Annual McMaster Brain Bee was held on February 19, 2008,
in the Psychology Building (Lecture Hall 155), at McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario.
The 6th Annual McMaster Brain Bee will be held in February of 2009 (exact date to be announced).
